The Project Fashion Show

On December the 10th I had the privilege of attending one of Houston's elite Fashion shows Called The Project Fashion Show. The show show cases Houston based designers for a great course as part of the proceeds go to Donate a meal that feeds the less fortunate with warm meals during the holidays in downtown Houston

The show was held at Global Motor cars of Houston ( click link above) a luxury car dealership located in Staffold Tx where the interior was literally changed into an ambience or rather platform that included a 70ft runway, goodie bags for VIP guests ( sponsored by Jack Daniels) and simply oozed New York /Paris fashion week vibe..

complementary valet parking was offered to every guest as they arrived and Let me just say everyone brought their A game dressed in all black cocktail attire. Tres chic!! They then headed to the cocktail lounge where it was all about mingling and networking with other attendees with similar penchant for chic, contemporary HIGH FASHION while enjoying cocktails sponsored by jack Daniels

Then it was the much anticipated Fashion Show. Where Houston based designers Chasity Sereal

Travis Cal

showcased never before seen pieces from their lines.

High contour, contemporary, chic fashion was in the air. Chasity's pieces deferred from the traditional bridal, formal and prom gowns, they screamed dare to be different. Travis pieces had a sexy elegance with the "am still a diva" factor to them. Char's pieces had that effortless well put together chic vibe and lastly Richard and Grace pieces were the epitome of contemporary, edgy, I will stand out fashion with an Asian vibe.

I absolutely loved and felt honored to be in attendance. Thank you to

It's exactly a week away from Christmas and I am beyond excited to spend time with my family. Anyway my post today is all about my love for green hues. I actually wore this outfit for a baby shower back in September so I figured why not be a repeat offender..

I paired paired my top I got over a year ago from one of my very favorite online store www.saboskirt.com with this skirt I got about 6 months ago from House of CB. (On sale now) my shoes were literally $6 from love culture.

Hey Guys

So as my love for fashion grows I have found or rather grown an understanding that simple and effortless are timeless and the way to go. Not saying I still don't have my Diva too much moments lol but I have simply evolved into loving more of a simple chic type of style.

Which brings me to this post. I paired my 3 year old BCBG (love bcbg) jumpsuit with these flat forms I had been eyeing for sometime (they were sold out) at Windsor store and they restocked them just in time for Black Friday sales.

I absolutely love them very comfortable and pretty much go with any outfit. I also wanted to do a post were I mostly sat down rather than the traditional stand and pose usually seen in the blog world.

Though let's face it! I could not resist lol

Hey guys

So I am beyond obsessed with the fringe trend. And when I saw these pants by Lavish Alice, it was Love at first glance! I paired them with a bodysuit from Go Jane, belt from forever 21 and shoes by Nasty gal. Hope you guys like how the look come out.
