Fashion x Austin Celebrated a decade of  high fashion infused shows during this years Austin Fashion week. The venue, The vault space was transformed into a glamorous high fashion lovers dream. The back drop to the 90ft runway being the most defining of this vibe

Friday’s show featured collections from Dan Richtere with vibrant Blue sleek pastels, Miles Davis pieces had an effortless chic tone to them. While Maison Jolie spoke to that inner summer glamorous girl with beach wear pieces.

My favorite of the night was project Runways season 9 and 10 alumni Gunner Deathrage with androgynous chic pieces. Katie Kime ( also designer of the runway backdrop) closed off the show with pieces that were  a marriage made in floral heaven.

Saturday’s show opened with League of Rebels where FAshionx and Austin fashion week founder Matt Swinney graced the runway. Linden Meyer Couture line show cased flowy glamorous gowns. Perfect for prom and any black tie event.

Capsule collection included Ankara prints pieces from Nomzee designs, Chic Jackie Kennedy cashmere looks from Amber leaf was all Retro slay from Lika Steel

Then the audience witnessed history in the making when Creed Voyles the youngest designer in Austin Fashion Week history walked his collection. His pieces had a futuristic/ fashion forward vibe to them with sequins and leather pieces.

And finally my favorite Britney Nichole closed the night. Her pieces spoke I mean spoke words to me. She is every millennial fashionista’s dream designer. Chic, want to standout, effortless, Daring, polkadots, tulle, color blocking and well tailored pieces walked that 90ft runway.

And with that, it was a wrap for the decade marking fashion shows of Austin Fashion Week. Congratulations to FAshionx.co here is to more years of amazing fashion Weeks
