Pastel sequined dress

 

I had been eyeing this dress for over a year.( that price) Something about it screamed elegance. So when it went on sale, you know I had to get it. I originally got it to shoot with the big Ass balloon collabo I did for my NYE inspired fit. 

 

But thanks to the holidays, and everyone buying presents it did not make it to me on time even with express shipping. In hide site, I think that was actually a good thing because I just love how everything about this look come together. 

 

We shot at the Bayou park in Downtown Houston. The gravel, trees with the yellow brown leaves, and the dress with its tree like sequins designs just fussed together perfectly. I originally had my fur vest and heels but I decided to go for a more mellow vibe  and let the dress and nature around have its moment and hance me being barefoot 

 

 How would you guys style this dress? I hope you like my chic nature infused vibe that I was going for.

Black Tulle Dress

 

Happy First week of 2017. Time is really flying, it was just holiday season and just like that it's all over. Anyway let's talk tulle shall we. I absolutely loved this dress when I saw it on nasty gal. As many of you may know from my Instagram feed, I love loss fitting clothing. Something chic about care free about them. Totally went on a tangent there, so back to this tulle dress.

 

 It was something about how simple,flowy, and just put me and go feel that I loved about it and could not resist getting it. I paired it with my clear boots that for the life of me, I can't seem to wear without socks (more power to all the fashonies that wear them as is). I was going for a fun, and flirty look and the see through tulle kinda gave it that simple sassy look

NYE inspired Fit

 

Happy New Year everyone. I hope everyone is having a great start to the year thus far. Do you have any New Years resolutions? If so what are they? I personally don't. I stopped having those about 2 or three years back after reading a book titled The ultimate secret of total self confidence . (Love to read inspirational books) And in that book it stated your actions are in direct relation to your level  of self awareness at the time.. For this reason, I would rather be more self aware because that in turn will help me make better formed decisions/choices that will help me become a better well rounded being. 

 

Anyways enough about that let's jump into this post shall we . I collaborated with a local company named 

Big Ass Balloons that make customized balloons for any occasion. It be graduation, baby shower I mean whatever event that needs balloons they will add that IT factor with their big ass balloons. I opted for white with gold tassels and gold and white confetti on the inside. It was a perfect ensemble marriage with my gold shift dress (Love shift dresses) that I paired with my fur coat 

 

And of course my poor poor nude shoes that go with every fit ( hence the over wearing of them lol) finished up the look.
